At Just Greens, we believe every plant deserves a second chance.
Through our Plant Rescue & Rehoming Program, we collect plants, flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables that would otherwise be discarded. Many of these plants are still healthy but have become stressed from lack of water, poor soil conditions, damaged foliage, root binding, or seasonal changes.
Our team carefully evaluates each plant and uses natural restoration methods to bring them back to life, including:
• Proper watering and hydration recovery
• Root inspection and transplanting
• Soil improvement and compost enrichment
• Pruning damaged leaves and stems
• Natural fertilization techniques
• Pest monitoring and plant health restoration
Once revived, these plants are either donated to local residents, shared through community outreach efforts, used in educational workshops, or offered for rehoming at affordable prices.
The Plant Rescue Program helps reduce waste, beautify neighborhoods, introduce new gardeners to growing food and flowers, and support our mission of building healthier communities through urban agriculture.
